Student Wellbeing

Student wellbeing is promoted through a multidimensional, holistic approach to agency and growth that encompasses the spiritual, academic, and community life at The Glennie School.

Wellbeing is implicit in our Mission, Values, and Guiding Principles, and threaded through our programs, structures, strategies, policies and pedagogy.

The year-level approach to pastoral care fosters a sense of belonging and unity within each cohort, promoting a positive, inclusive school environment. Students participate in regular wellbeing lessons, which provide them with a space to connect, share, and learn with their Wellbeing Teacher. The approach builds resilience, shapes character and creates healthy habits.

The Wellbeing Framework encapsulates character development within the Wellbeing curriculum, while the Religious and Values Education (RAVE) program contributes to students’ social and emotional development.
